Hello, Kansas City, and welcome back to the Bespoke Refinement Podcast. We are your one-stop shop for all Kansas City car detailing services. Kansas City car detailing packages is really everything Kansas City car detailing.
I mean, we are in it to win it. Now, guys, we are going over the list of top sports cars for 2024. What were the top sports cars that were being sold during 2024? A lot of these have received our Kansas City car detailing packages in 2024 and 2025, so really exciting stuff.
Well, guys, we are looking at number nine on the list right now. We just finished number 10 on the list, which was the BMW 2 Series, as I stated in the last podcast. You’ll have to listen to that one to know about the vehicles before this one, but I really don’t know a whole lot about the BMW 2 Series.
I know someone who has an M2, but it might be a biased opinion, but they don’t like me, so I don’t like M2s, even though I know nothing about it. It could be a great car. Next on the list is the Ford Mustang.
Now, you don’t have to be a car person to know what a Ford Mustang is, and honestly, like a lot of different American sports cars and muscle cars, there’s so many variations to the Mustang. I mean, are we talking the EcoBoost, or as I call it, the EcoTurd? Are we talking about the V6, which is also kind of a flop, or are we talking about the Coyote, the 5.0 N? You’ve got the GT500, you’ve got the GT500 Supersnake. There’s so many different variations to the Ford Mustang.
It all depends. I would say I don’t start looking at a Mustang with any sort of admiration until I start seeing a 5.0 on the side of it, but that’s why I’m not a big Mustang guy, is because you can buy an EcoCylinder or an EcoBoost and park it right next to a 5.0, and the average person isn’t going to be able to tell the difference, so that’s why I’m not a big Mustang guy. Next on the list is the Acura Integra.
Now, I gotta tell you, the Acura Integra is a pretty cool car. My cousin has a, I think it’s a Type R. It’s like the really crazy track version of the Integra, but actually it’s the Type S is what it is. It’s the Honda Civic Type R equivalent to the Type S. Anyways, the Acura Integra, they’re pretty cool.
I obviously think the base model is just a Honda Civic with lipstick on it, but still, for $26,000 base price to get an Acura Integra, can’t beat it. They’re great cars. Ooh, okay.
Next on the list is the Mercedes-AMG GT. Now, this is kind of a weird one for me, because I really like the old AMG GT, like the previous body style. They hit their mark on that body style.
I mean, it looks like, or it really has the same design as the SLS AMG. So, the older generation AMG GT, I’m a big fan of. This new one, in my opinion, is what the AMG SL should have been, personally.
I mean, I think they missed their mark on both the SL AMG and the AMG GT, these newer generations. But the previous generation AMG GT, love it. I love that car.
Next on the list is the Porsche 911. I’ve got qualms with the 911. Let me explain it.
It’s so hard having a GT2 RS as a dream car, because it happened today, actually. With my wife. So, I worked on a 911 GTS Targa, which is like a, I’d say it’s a medium between just a regular base model 911 and my dream car, the GT2 RS.
And my wife goes, yeah, that’s my husband’s dream car that he worked on today. And I’m like, no, it’s not. The base model 911, in fact, is not my dream car.
Now the turbo, yes. The GT3, yes. The GT2, yes.
But a base model Porsche 911, even the Carrera 4S, I’m just not a fan of. I start getting excited when I see Porsche 911, when I see a turbo and up. But that’s what’s interesting about the Porsche 911, is there’s so many variations to it.
But the starting price being almost $120,000. I don’t know. I don’t know.
I’d rather spend $120,000 on a C8 V06, personally, than a base model Porsche 911. Up next on the list is the Porsche 718 Spyder. Now, this one’s interesting.
We actually performed a Kansas City car detailing service on one of these not that long ago. And I mistaked it for a GT4 RS. I actually don’t know what the 718 Spyder is.
I know it’s different from the 718 Boxster, but I don’t know what the story is on these cars. It’s interesting. I mean, a new one’s $200,000.
I’m looking these up right now. Yeah, $200,000. I don’t know.
I don’t know what engine these have. Oh, they got the 4-liter. They got the GT3 RS motor in them, don’t they? Okay, that’s pretty hot.
Yeah, so the 718 Spyder RS is basically like a GT4 RS without a roof. Yeah, I can get on board with that. That’s pretty hot.
Okay, let me go back to my list here. Next up is the Porsche 718 Cayman. I really do like these cars.
I do. I think for the money, a Cayman S or a GTS, such a good car. You get Porsche quality.
You know, in my mind, getting a 718 Cayman S in Miami blue, which is my favorite Porsche color, put a half cage in it, paint it yellow, paint the calipers yellow, do a nice set of wheels on it, and put a GT4 RF body kit on it. I don’t even care if I’m a poser. For under $60,000, that is the sexiest car.
Next on the list is the Boxster 718 Boxster. No, no, it’s not. That car doesn’t even… That car shouldn’t even be on the list.
Number two is the C8 Corvette. And I gotta tell you, the C8s… The C8s are… The Corvette is kind of becoming the new Porsche 911 with all these different submodels, right? I mean, you’ve got the E-Ray, you’ve got the Stingray, and then you got the Stingray R, and then you got the E-Ray, and there’s the Z06, and there’s the ZR1, and there’s the ZR1X. They’re literally becoming the Porsche 911 of the United States, versus in the early 2000s with the Corvette, you had the Targa, the Convertible, and the Z06.
That was really it. Well, guys, if you’re looking to book a canned city car detailing package, contact us at 620-282-0402.
