We’re so glad that you’ve joined us today to listen to more about what we have to share about our Kansas City Car Detailing Services, Kansas City Car Detailing packages, and all of our ceramic coating, paint correction, and car detailing that Bespoke Automotive Refinement has to offer.

We do offer pet hair removal. As you’re brushing hair on me. As I’m brushing pet hair off of me.

It’s a thing, man. We’ve got two doggies, and there’s definitely hair all the time in our house and our car. Yes.

Today, we’re going to be talking more about track cars. This is part four. The other ones we’re talking specifically about the mechanics, the ride, that kind of thing.

Today, we’re going to be talking about what are the best track cars. Now, before we start, Thomas, can you tell us maybe a little bit about Bespoke Refinement and what it has to offer our Kansas City Car Detailing clients? Bespoke Refinement is the highest rated car detailing and paint correction service in Kansas City. We offer the highest level of detailing, whether you’re wanting pet hair removal, steam cleaning, paint correction, ceramic coating.

We offer three different stages of paint correction. One stage, two stage, three stage. We offer hot water extraction.

Like I said, steam cleaning. I mean, we have the ability to literally make any car look brand, brand, brand new. All right, so we’re going to be talking about track cars.

Now, Thomas, can you give us a list off the top of your head of some of the best track cars? This is a fun one. So, we’re going to go off of, like, no budget. But there’s one car that every person that I’ve ever talked to who races around a track, races professionally, tells you.

We’ll say, this is the best track car, and it is a Mazda Miata. Because it’s better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. So, the Mazda Miata, you can go all out with it, and you’re really not going to wreck it.

You’re not going to spin out in a corner. You can have your foot to the floor through most of your time on the track, and you can drive a Miata really hard. And a professional driver behind the wheel of a Miata will beat an amateur driver behind the wheel of a $5 million Bugatti.

It’s just the truth. So, Mazda Miata, for sure. I think if we’re talking American cars, the Corvette Z06 is… The Z06 and the ZR1, I guess if we’re going no budget, the ZR1 is better than the Z06.

The ZR1 has more power, it has more aero. The ZR1 comes factory with a huge wing for downforce. It actually has DCT, has the same level of traction control systems that the Porsche GT cars have.

The Z06 doesn’t have that. So, the ZR1 is a better track car than the Z06. Whether it’s the C7 or the C8 or even the C6, I really like the C7 ZR1.

If there was no budget, we would have a C7 ZR1 in our garage. Another car that you can’t go wrong with, obviously, the pinnacle of track cars is the Porsche GT cars. Genuinely, I think the GT3, it would be better for me than the GT2, even though my dream car is the GT2.

The reason why is, I learned how to race on a track, road course race, with a GT2 RS. GT2 RS, and it was honestly too much even then. Because it was 700 horsepower, it had great aero, it had an amazing traction system to learn on.

But 700 horsepower is too much for a beginner. And the guy who owned the car, who was a professional race car driver, ended up having a ton of work done to this car. It was turned up like 900 horsepower.

And he ended up selling it because it was too much power to go around a track in. Like, 900 horsepower is too much. So, he got a GT3 RS, and a GT3 RS is 580, but you can use all of it.

And there is such thing as having too much power when it comes to racing around corners. So, I would say a 991.2 GT3 RS with a Wacik package is 100% a car on the list to have for a track day car. You know, another one would be, it just came out.

The first one to the Kansas City area was actually delivered in a dealership right by our house. I drove by and I saw them unloading it from the truck, and I had to flip around and take a double take of it. It was a new Mustang GTD.

And the Mustang GTD is a… They built it to compete with the GT3 and the GT2 RS Porsche. And it’s actually faster than a GT3 RS. It’s a Mustang.

It’s like a $500,000 Mustang. But it is the ultimate track weapon. And the new ZR1 barely beat it.

Which I hate admitting as a Corvette guy, that a Mustang beat a Corvette. Yeah. Alright, so on this list of the best track cars, list them ranking from 1 to 4. Not 4, because they’re still the best, but the lowest on the list.

Number 10 is a BMW M4 CSL. It says it’s BMW’s most hardcore track build. Sticky, sharp, brutally fast.

And it looks so good. Do you remember a couple months ago I was like, this is a BMW that I could look PC getting? Yeah. That’s what that was.

An M4 CSL. Yep. They are… I’ve never driven an M4, so I can’t really speak to them.

But I know that the CSL comes factory with carbon ceramic brakes, Michelin Pilot Supersport Cup 2s, and if I’m not mistaken, it actually comes with a half cage and pretty decent aero from the factory, which is pretty cool. So, I can see why it’s on that list for sure. Number 9 is a Camaro CL1 1LE.

It says it’s insane downforce, plus it’s GM chassis tuning. It compares to cars twice the price. Do you remember that blue Camaro that was on the rally? Uh-huh.

That’s what that was. Uh-huh. CL1 1LE.

That car, on the rally, the only car faster than it was the GT2RS. And that’s a $60,000 car that was faster than the million dollar cars on the rally. Wow.

Yeah. Because they are… But that is specifically what that car is built for, is going around corners and not being able to be pushed to the tip of crashing, but not crashing. Uh-huh.

If you’re a professional driver and the guy who’s driving that car is a professional driver. Uh-huh. Number 8 is a Ferrari 488 Pista.

It says Ferrari magic. Unbelievable chassis, grip, and precision on track. That’s what my brother-in-law used to have, was a 488 Pista.

And they… The aero of those cars is so crazy. They went so far into making that car as aerodynamic as possible that there’s a, like a, in the mouth on the front grill. Uh-huh.

It’s open and it goes up through the hood. Oh, wow. Do you remember that when I… Yeah, I do remember that.

That’s the 488 Pista. So, all of those things are designed to allow the car to be as aerodynamic as possible to keep it low to the ground. Okay, wow.

So, I could totally see a 488 Pista being on that list for sure. Yeah.
