Hello Kansas City, welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast. We are so thankful to have you guys on. We just love coming on here every week and talking about all things cars and detailing and Kansas City car detailing.
It is one of our favorite things to do and we are so thankful to have you guys on and a part of our show. So guys today we are going to be going on Facebook marketplace and scrounging the internet looking at random cars for sale. So basically what I’m going to do is I’m going to choose a certain area of Kansas City because we’re in Kansas City and we are just going to be looking at cars for sale.
So let’s start. I got my area selected here. All right wow this is actually pretty crazy.
The first this is really crazy. Okay so the first car that popped up was a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. This is this is really wild.
What makes this especially crazy is where this car is located. So this car is actually located like right outside of my hometown. It’s in the town that my mom grew up in.
It’s about five hours away from here but it’s not far at all from like the first Corvette I ever had was a 2003 Millennium Yellow Corvette. So although this one’s a Z06 my first one wasn’t. It’s just kind of crazy this literally the first car that popped up.
That’s wild. Okay the next vehicle is a 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan. Now this one’s pretty crazy.
I mean I know a few people that have bought these Eurovans. They’re kind of like a little bit modern version of the the hippie van. You know it looks like a it looks like something that if you just stepped in it and smelled it it would smell like marijuana which is fair because about every person that ever buys a Eurovan is probably smoking weed.
The next car oh this is pretty interesting. It’s a 2016 Audi S3 and I can tell by looking at the photos of it that this is a race car. Oh this is a 100% race car.
It’s on Hoosier slicks on all four wheels. It’s obviously all wheel drive. It’s 850 wheel horsepower.
Dude this is a this is a street car man. It’s got the it’s got the exhaust sticking out of the hood. It’s literally got a hood exit exhaust.
That is pretty sick. Okay oh this is cool. Next on the list is a 1992 Mustang GT Fox body.
It’s got that like OG Kansas City ceramic coating. All right so let’s check out this next one. Oh that’s really cool.
So this one is a 1986 1986 Land Rover Defender with an LS3 in it. If you don’t know if you don’t know Corvettes or if you don’t know Chevrolets that is a Corvette engine. That’s like what they put in the C6 Corvette after 08 and then the Grand Sport engine and um like the Camaro SS.
So that’s really cool. It’s got a bed on it. It’s got a real it’s actually got a modern modern dash, touchscreen head unit, diamond stitched leather.
I mean that’s that’s a vibe. $139,995. So Kansas City ceramic coating.
Okay let’s move on to the next one. Um so the next one here. Sorry my phone.
Oh this is a vibe. Like this is something that I honestly want to buy one of these tomorrow. It’s a 1983 Jeep Wagoneer with an AMC 360 rebuilt transmission.
It’s got an orange it’s got an orange uh exterior repaint. But what’s really interesting is the seats have like orange overspray on them. So it’s almost like the dude got orange paint on his pants and then climbed in and out of it.
But it’s got like um it’s like it has tv screens and the headrests on the back. So that’s pretty dope. I would love a Jeep like an old school Jeep Wagoneer.
We’ve got a Jeep. We’ve got a 2021 Wrangler Sahara but I’m into the older stuff. I think an older Wagoneer would be sick.
All right let’s see what we’ve got next. So up next we have a 2017 Camaro ZL1 for 60 grand. Okay so this one Kansas City Ceramic Coating has like what color is that? Is that a wrap? Yeah so it’s like a turquoise blue wrap but it’s got an ice box in the back.
It’s got okay it’s an 1100 horsepower ZL1. Wow it’s got a 2650 Maggi fully forged top end stock bottom. So it must be like a heads cam car.
It’s on okay 1100 to the wheels thousand foot pound of torque on 18 psi of boost. And this car is actually let me check where this one’s at because that actually gonna piques my interest a little bit. That is out of our range a little bit.
That’s in St. Louis not far away though. I’d drive to go pick that up if my funds were not in the equation. All right I did not know that Grand Sports were getting this cheap.
So this is a 2018 Corvette C7 Grand Sport. It’s the first thing it says on the on the ad. Check engine light is on.
But I mean it’s a full bolt-on car. Has carbon ceramic brakes for $38,000. That’s a lot of car for 38 grand.
It’s got the seven speed manual. Okay a 450 horsepower seven speed manual with carbon ceramic brakes for less than 40 grand. That’s pretty crazy.
That’s pretty crazy. Okay next on the list Kansas City Ceramic Coating. Oh this is pretty cool.
It’s a 2011 4Runner SR5. You know as I said it was really cool. I realized it’s an SR5 so it’s two wheel drive.
It’s all jacked up and lifted but literally does not even have four wheel drive.
