Hello Kansas City and welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast. We are so excited to have you guys on the show. We just love coming on here every week and talking about cars and detailing, Kansas City car detailing, Kansas City ceramic coating, really just all things cars.

I mean I don’t know if you guys have picked up on this by now or not but I love cars. It’s one of my favorite things of all time. It goes, it goes God, Jesus, my wife, and cars.

In that order. So next on the list of cars that we have found on Marketplace, we’re still in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m getting ready to change it but it’s kind of interesting.

So if you guys have been paying attention to the show the last few weeks you know that I am actively looking for a C7 Z06 Corvette and I’ve got two colors that I’m looking for. I’m looking for yellow and orange. Well I haven’t actually found an orange one for sale until just now.

I was literally just scrolling through and I found my first orange one for sale. So we’re a 2019 Corvette Z06 and it’s a 1LZ so it doesn’t have the Z07 package which is like a must-have for me. But is it manual? I can’t tell.

No it’s automatic. But it’s Sebring orange which is the best color ever next to yellow. And you can tell they did like a partial Z07 package on it.

Like they did the side skirts, they did the wheels, they did the carbon flash kind of but they missed the front lip. Which is kind of popular for people to do on these cars because they don’t want to worry about constantly breaking that front lip. I don’t care.

I gotta have that front lip. This one’s got the gunmetal gray wheels with the silver bead on the lip of the wheel. That is such a good looking car.

They want way too much for it. They want $75,000. I think they want that much for it because they know how rare that color is.

But I think it’s overpriced. Next on the list, oof, it’s a race car. I like it.

It’s a 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. So not a street legal car, you can’t drive it on the track but that is like the car you buy if you want to become a race car driver and race in the Porsche GT Cup Series. It’s only got 60 hours on it.

Click to win $160,000 for it. See I’m in this weird place buying track cars. I mean for $160,000 I really want something that I can just hop in and use whenever I want.

The idea of having to trailer it to a track day, drive it at a track day, get into the GT Series and I can only race it those days. Spending $160,000 to do that kind of feels weird to me. But either way, that’s a sick car.

Next on the list here, let me see, I’ve got some other Facebook marketplace junk that isn’t interesting. Oh okay, this one is a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. We have one of these.

Ours is a 2023 but still kind of cool seeing a Sahara, an older one. It’s got 184,000 miles on it um so that’s a lot but they only want $8,000 for it. I bet they’ll sell it for $6,000.

All right, I have to do this car because I used to own one of these. Very briefly owned one of these but it was a fun car. It’s a non-turbo one but still pretty dope.

1991 Toyota MR2 Coupe. So the thing about the MR2, Kansas City Ceramic Coating, that’s really interesting is it was known as like the poor man’s Ferrari. But on the turbo cars, the naturally aspirated ones are just a fun little two-door sports car.

But really the turbo ones, I mean change the turbo, change the fuel system, tune it, and it’s still a fast car today. I wouldn’t say it’s something that you’re going to go to like TX2K with or go to a Roll Race event with and you know dominate. You got to do a lot to get to know you.

But you can have a lot of fun with a lightly modified MR2 from the 90s and I really think those cars are just sick. Okay next on the list here guys. We’ve got a 2012 Corvette Grand Sport with the ugliest wheels I have ever seen.

Why would you do that? I don’t even want to review this car. Why would you do that? Yeah no. All right so it’s actually a good color.

It’s cyber gray which my friend had a cyber gray C6 Grand Sport back in the day. He had um the Miami blue calipers with the Grand Sport stripe in Miami blue and then he did like kind of interior accents in Miami blue and it looked really good on cyber gray. But this thing’s got like red wheels on it and it’s just no.

That’s a failure. That is a very very very big fail. Um, what else do we get here? Oh this one’s cool.

2003 Acura RSX Type S Sport. Obviously if you get the RSX you want the Type R not the Type S because you want that JDM B16. But these cars are iconic.

Like they’re iconic JDM cars. When you think of a JDM sports car and you’re talking about an Acura you don’t skip over the RSX. The Type R obviously.

But you know these cars with a body kit, an exhaust, if it’s manual which this one is, you can still have a lot of fun with one of those. Um I’m definitely a big fan of this one. Um I just it’s kind of sad with some of the older JDM cars like right now I’m on a 3000 GT kick because I used to have one.

I technically had two. And um they’ve kind of become this car that you only see in some old man’s garage who never drives it. Or you’ve got one sitting in someone’s backyard that used to be just a sick street car.

But they need a lot of work. They’re really expensive to have work done on. They’re really hard to work on.

They’re hard to source parts for. Um and the RSX is kind of becoming that way too. But it’s a hard car to really get to work.
