Hello Kansas City and welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast. We are so excited to have you guys on this week to talk about cars and detailing and all things Kansas City car detailing. Well to kick this one off guys, we are going to continue on our little segment of Facebook Marketplace Cars for Sale.
Why? Because we love cars. You gotta buy a car if you’re gonna want to own one, right? So, you gotta know what’s out there. You gotta know what’s on the market.
But also, it’s really important to know what the market’s doing. So, right now we’ve got our pinpoint set in Kansas City and we’re gonna start off with the first car on the list here. And if you get annoyed with me saying, Oh, I owned one of those.
Well, I used to drive one of those. Don’t be offended. I mean, I owned a lot of cars in my life.
So, I say that because the first one I click on is a car I used to own. All right, it’s a 2003 Subaru WRX. It’s like the car has coilovers.
Uh, a full STI JDM swap except for the wing, which is fair. That’s a good looking car. That is a very good looking car.
I love when it’s a bug eye because it’s an 03. But I love when they take the bug eye and they put the 04, uh, or the 05, 06 STI side skirts on them. And then they like do a pro drive front end conversion.
I’m about to talk myself into buying another one of these things, man. They’re so cool. But like anyone who just sees one casually driving down the road, they wonder what on earth is that? But if you’re a car guy or gal, you just, you know, you know it’s a special car.
All right, next on the list. I actually saw this car out driving around the other day. So, it’s kind of cool seeing it for sale.
It’s a 2019 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport. Looks like it’s in ceramic matrix gray. And you know what? They want way too much for this thing, dude.
They want $75,000 for this thing. That’s Z06 money. Nah, hard pass, hard pass on that.
Kansas City Car Detailing. Next on the list is a 2006 Hummer H2 Limited ED. Now, I’m going to say something.
And it’s going to lead to me being heavily judged, and that’s fine. But I’m just going to say it. I love the H2 Hummer.
I think they are so sick. I think that if you have a Hummer, like one of the mid to early 2000s Hummers like the H2, you fit in a certain genre of person that you either had money in the early 2000s, but you just didn’t make any more money. So, you just kind of stuck with what you had.
Or you just bought something really cool in the early 2000s, and you’re still a baller. But either way, man, that H2 Hummer is just… I love the way those things look. I’ve always been a big fan of them.
I think since I was a little kid, I’ve wanted one. So, honestly, we can add this one to the list of stuff that I’m going to be dreaming about. Okay, next on the list is a 2002 Volkswagen Eurovan.
Now, one of my Kansas City car detailing customers actually has one of these. And what’s cool about these is the roof slides back, and it pops open. So, it’s like a camper.
It’s like a… I guess they would have called something like this a caravan in Europe or Germany. But it’s like a literal camper van. And it’s dope.
And you know what? As I’m sitting here looking at it, we can add that to the list. I would way rather have an H2 Hummer that fits more my vibe. But that is honestly… That is dope.
I love it. Next on the list is a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500. The only reason that I’m clicking on this one is because it’s a crew cab.
But they did a full Chevy SS conversion on it. So, it’s like… But they never did the the crew cab Chevy SS. But it literally is a true Chevy SS clone.
All right, let’s see what’s next. 2018 Audi R8 5.2 plus. I got a buddy that got an R8, and I’m actually gonna get to… I’m excited I’ll get to see it today.
It’s this like final generation R8. I guess it would be the third generation R8. I don’t know them that well.
But it’s basically a Huracan. That is so sick. That is so dope.
I love the R8. I don’t know a lot about them. But I haven’t seen an R8 that I didn’t get excited about coming across or seeing.
Okay, Kansas City car detailing. This one is actually in my… It’s in my parents’ neck of the woods. I ought to call them and have them go take a look at it.
Because this is definitely… This is like my dream SUV right here. It’s a 2017 Mercedes-Benz G-Class G550 4×4 squared. This is like the ultimate SUV.
Like it doesn’t get any more dope than this. A lifted G-Wagon with carbon fiber wide-body fender flares. I mean, as I’m sitting here looking at it, I really want this.
This is actually awesome. I’m a big fan of the G-Wagon. I think it’s one of the most well-built SUVs ever built.
I mean, you can take them anywhere. They’re indestructible. When they do break, they’re expensive to fix.
