Hello, Kansas City, and welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast.
We are your one-stop location for all things car detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating. We do it all.
If you are in the Kansas City area and you’re looking for a Kansas City ceramic coating or a Kansas City paint correction, we are the business.
Guys, we are going to be continuing our perusal of Facebook Marketplace and the cool stuff that’s on there.
Right now, we’ve got our pin set in Franklin, Nashville, because that’s where my wife is from. That’s where she grew up.
So let’s see what we got here.
1997 Camaro Z28
Okay, a 1997 Camaro Z28.
I actually want this. I’m not even lying. This is awesome.
It’s a 30th anniversary, and I don’t know a whole lot about F-bodies, which is what this is.
I know that this is an LT1. I know it’s not the LS. The LS didn’t come until the second version of the fourth-gen Camaro F-body.
But this one’s dope.
It’s white with white wheels, bright orange stripes, and a white interior.
I don’t know what it is about white interiors that I like so much, but I do.
I like the two-tone white over black look. I think that is the most dope thing ever.
If you got a white interior, if you got partial white interior on your car, you’re just a straight-up G.
He’s got 28,000 miles, and they’re asking $27,995 for it.
Honestly, I shouldn’t say they’ll get that. I don’t know the F-body market that well.
2026 Corvette E-Ray
Okay, what is next?
Here we go. A 2026 Corvette E-Ray.
I was telling my brother-in-law, he really wanted to get a Z06. He was like, “Man, I want a Z06,” and I was like, “Why?”
He said, “Because they look good.”
I was like, “Well, what would you want to use this Corvette for?”
He explained it to me, and the thing that a lot of people don’t understand about the Z06 Corvette is, yes, it is a raw, fast, insane driving experience.
But if you aren’t someone who really appreciates the novelty of a car that has a stiff, rough ride because it’s more of a track-inspired car, you’re going to hate the Z06.
If you’re that person, you’ll love it.
If you’re not a driver, per se, if you’re more of like, “Man, I just want to look good pulling up to the club,” or, “I want to look good pulling up to the gym,” then don’t get a C8 Z06 because the stiff suspension is going to be very, very, very rough.
That’s not what he wanted, so I gave him the alternative.
I’m like, “Get an E-Ray.”
The E-Ray looks just like the Z06. It’s got the Z06 wide body.
The E-Ray, I’m pretty certain, has 655 horsepower out of the box. All-wheel drive.
It’s got the same engine as the base model, but it’s got a front-mounted electric engine to it.
It’s like 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. That’s insane.
Guys are putting turbos, like twin turbo kits, on the E-Ray.
Number one, they’re wicked, but they’re putting out hypercar numbers.
They’re running eights. They’re outrunning Bugatti Chirons with just a turbo kit and a cam.
2001 Chevy Corvette Z06
All right, next on this list. This is cool.
It’s a 2001 Chevy Corvette Z06.
This is actually the rarest C5 Z06 you can get, the rarest option C5.
It is speedway white exterior over a mod red interior.
This interior is actually pretty clean for a C5.
This is really clean for a C5.
The seats don’t even have wrinkles. They don’t look like they’ve ever been sat in before, and that’s rare for a C5 because C5 seats wear out pretty quick.
Speedway white is interesting.
I had an arctic white C5 Corvette, and I parked it next to my buddy. If you’re on Instagram and you follow cars, it’s the C5 Unicorn. The owner is a friend of mine.
I’ve got a picture of the two of them parked together, and the arctic white parked next to the speedway white actually makes the speedway white look bad because it’s more of an off-white.
It’s got a very light tan undertone to it versus the arctic white, which has that blue metallic flake in it.
I’ll always argue that arctic white is the best color over the speedway white, but anyways.
1997 Subaru Sambar
All right, next in the listings here, we’ve got a 1997 Subaru Sambar.
This one’s cool. This is awesome.
I don’t really know what this is. It’s a right-hand drive.
It looks like a very miniature Volkswagen bus, maybe.
Top speed’s 50 miles an hour. That’s crazy.
It’s $9,500.
Honestly, I would buy that. I would actually buy that impulsively just to have it.
2001 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster
All right, this is something I can get on board with.
They’ve only got one picture of it, and they’re asking way too much for it.
They’re asking way too much for this, but honestly, we’re going to go through it anyway.
It’s a 2001 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster.
This one does have the hard top.
It’s got a cheap-looking ACR wing on it that’s not even an ACR wing.
It looks too narrow. It throws the dimensions of the whole car off.
It’s got 44,000 miles on it, and they want $62,000 for it.
That’s Gen 4 money, honestly.
I’m buying a Gen 4 Viper over a Gen 2 Viper any day of the year.
It’s not going to be an ACR.
