Hello, Kansas City. Welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast, the premier kansas city car detailing service. We are so glad that you joined us today.

We are incredibly blessed to have the one and only Thomas Till here on our podcast. Thank you, Thomas, for joining us today. Thank you so much for having me on today.

I just love coming on here and talking about all the different Kansas City car detailing services we offer and just talking cars as well. Before we start, can you tell our audience a little bit about what Kansas City car detailing services that Bespoke Automotive Refinement does offer? Yeah, we offer everything from a basic wash, basic maintenance detail, all the way to, you know, a full interior detail, full paint correction, ceramic coating, a stone chip touch-up, and everything in between. Ceramic coating glass, ceramic coating wheels, everything.

So, for this episode, we’re going to be talking about the 20 current supercars that you should know about. Now, you are quite the car man. You really enjoy cars, talking about cars, thinking about cars.

Unfortunately. What are just a couple of cars that you really just enjoy? Supercars? Yes. Okay, well, my favorite is Corvette Z06.

I think it’s a great bang-for-your-buck car. I don’t think that it’s necessarily exotic, but I think it’s a fantastic car. The Porsche 911, uh, really any variation of the 911.

So, the 911 Turbo, the 911 Carrera, 911 GT3 RS, and then I am a huge fan of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. It’s one of my top, top, top dream cars. Now, have you performed any Kansas City car detailing services on any of the cars that you just mentioned?

Um, I’ve done a lot of Corvette Z06s, including both of my own. Um, I’ve done a bunch of Porsche 911s, and then, um, I’ve done a Lamborghini Aventador, but it wasn’t an SVJ. So, it was a, it was an S. So, um, but yeah.

So, we’re gonna start with number one. This is from Top Gear, The Top Gear. They say that the number one current car that you should know about is a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport.

Would you agree with this? Absolutely. Um, so, I don’t know a whole lot about the Chiron. Um, I, I know there’s a guy here in Kansas City that actually has two of them.

So, he, and they’re like five million dollars apiece. Wow. It says it can go up to about 300 miles per hour.

Yep, which is insane. Um, I have a few friends who own Bugatti Veyrons. So, I, I know the Veyron pretty well.
I think Bugatti is awesome, but I think that when it comes to owning one, it’s more like a private jet investment rather than a car. Because, um, how much do you think tires cost for a Bugatti? Oof. If it’s a, how much is it per car? Five million? Five million.

I’m gonna say a hundred thousand dollars per tire. It’s, it’s two hundred thousand dollars per wheel, and it’s fifty thousand dollars to have the tires changed, and you have to have it done every year. Wow.

And the only way to have the tire changed is you have to ship the car to, um, Britain to have, you can’t, there’s, there’s not a place in the United States that’ll do it. Wow, that’s wild. All right, number two, we have the Rimac Navara, and it says that it goes from zero to sixty miles per hour in 1.8 seconds.

So, I’ve done some research on the Rimac Navara. Um, Richard Hammond, who was like my, one of my childhood idols, um, crashed one on top gear back in, I think it was 2020 or 2021, about died. Um, the thing about the, the Rimac that I don’t like is they’re all electric, so they make no sound, and I feel like that’s one of the beauties of a super car is the sound they make.
Number three, we have the Pininfarina Battista. Yep. So, I have a client who refers to me as a son he never had who just sold a Pininfarina Battista.

Um, it’s actually a, that’s Ferrari. Oh, wow. So, Ferrari has Pininfarina, um, and they have a couple different companies that they buy their bodies from, and Pininfarina is one of them, but that is essentially a Ferrari.

Is it pretty fast? Never ridden in one. Um, I don’t know. I know that they’re also all electric, so I think that they’re soulless.

They don’t have quite the engine rev. No. All right, number four, we have the Lamborghini Sion.
Yep. So, the Sion, if I’m not mistaken, is a, like, tuned version of the SVJ. Yeah, it’s a tuned version of the SVJ.

So, it’s the la- I think it’s the final version of the Aventador. Um, so it’s like the last true V12 before they switch to a all electric, I think. No.

No, the Sion’s a hybrid. Yeah. So, if it were me, I would rather have the SVJ, because the SVJ is all motor, no electric, but I know if it’s electric and V12, it’s gonna be faster than an SVJ, so.
It’s really sleek looking. Extremely. All right, number five, we have the Ferrari 812 Competizione.
Competizione. So, would you believe that I actually touched two of those today? Wow, did you really? Yep. So, earlier today, when I was at that wheel shop, that was that white one.

Okay, yep. That was sitting on a showroom, and then earlier today, I was working on an Alfa Romeo 8C, and that car was in a shop next to an 812 Competizione. So, there’s, I think there’s five of them in the state of Kansas, and- You saw two of them? I saw two of them today.
Wow, that’s so cool. And I actually drove one on the rally. Number six, we have a McLaren Speedtail.

I know that those cars are- Converted. Yeah, they look very unique. I’ve never really been a big fan of the Speedtail.

If I were to ever spend more than a million dollars on a McLaren, it would either be a P1 or a Senna, but they look unique, that’s for sure. All right, number seven, we have the Maserati MC20. Do you remember last week when I told you I saw a car, and it was the most beautiful car I ever saw? Yes.

That’s what it was. Wow. So, there’s someone that lives by me that has a bright yellow one of those.

That was the car that when we were at Aristocrat, we were in the Maserati dealership. Yeah. You remember? Yep.

It was that red one. Is it just because it was yellow that really kind of blew you away? Because yellow tends to be your favorite. That definitely played a part.

I just think that they look so much like a hypercar. I mean, if you were to park that next to a Bugatti, you’d think they cost the same. So, there’s 600 horsepower.

I’m not really a big fan of the fact that they’re a V6, but the Ford GT, they did the same thing, and it still performs like a monster. All right, number eight, we have a Lotus Evija.

So, I don’t know a lot about the Evija, but I had a friend who had an Evora R, and I got to spend some time driving that car. And, I don’t know, I think the Lotus, I don’t consider the Lotus a supercar.

It’s more like a very stripped down sports car. I mean, some of those Lotuses don’t even come with like air conditioning. Oh, really? Yeah, they’re very, very bare bones.

So, personally, I’m not a fan of the Lotus. Number nine, I’ve seen you drive one of these, the Lamborghini Huracan. Yeah, and that’s the STO.

So, I had a really good friend of mine when I lived in Wichita who had a black and green STO, and it was just a wonderful car. It always worked. It always started.

It never had problems. He beat the crap out of that car daily and never had any problems. All right, last up, we have number 10, the McLaren Artura.

If I were to speak my truth, I don’t like the way the Artura looks. For the money, I would rather have a 765LT or a 675LT. I just, I think they look too much like a McLaren GT, which is like the entry-level McLaren.

And I know those cars are $700,000, $800,000, and I don’t know. I would rather have the, I’d rather have the, a faster one.
