So guys, today we are going to continue this segment that we’ve been on about my dream car garage. So, you know, the first one, just a little recap, was a yellow 911 997 Carrera Porsche with a TechArt body kit. And if you really want me to be detailed, the car has brushed aluminum Ford Star F14 wheels.
And it’s got a 997 Turbo S bumper on the back and a TechArt wing. And the roof is wrapped black. That’s about as detailed as I can get you.
But that is one of my dream cars. I think a Porsche 911 is one of the best sports cars you can buy. I wouldn’t even categorize it as a super car, but I think you buy that car and you don’t ever have to buy anything else again.
Because it will do everything you want it to do. And I want the Carrera 4S because I love the wide body. I really want a Turbo, but I like my dream cars to be somewhat realistic.
And the Turbo just keeps going up and up and up and up. So, you know, to spend $100,000 on a car, I would rather spend $50,000 and have two cars that have options of what I want to drive. But that’s just my opinion.
So guys, we talked about that one. We talked about the yellow 911. And then we talked about the jet black Porsche 550 Spyder.
It’s another one on my list. For building out a dream car garage, it’s very purpose-built. You’ve got your yellow 911 for driving every day, for spirited daily driving.
And then you’ve got your 550 Spyder for fun weekend driving. Weather’s got to be a certain temperature. You probably don’t want to take it on a road trip, but you can.
And then the third car on the list, what we were talking about at the end of the last episode, was the Porsche Carrera GT. And that car would have to be white. Period.
A white Carrera GT. And by the way, I think there’s only two of them in the world. I was looking into this the other day because I was curious.
I actually think there are only two Porsche Carrera GTs in white in the world. But if you’re going to have a dream car garage, you’ve got to have whatever color you want. And a white Carrera GT would be it for me.
And it would have to have some sort of brushed aluminum wheel that’s really bright. Something that looked really good sitting on those center lock wheels. Next on the list, and this is to complete the perfect garage for Thomas Thill, And it would be full of Porsches because this last one is also going to be a Porsche.
It would be a Porsche Cayenne Turbo with a Dakar kit. Now if you don’t know what a Dakar kit is, you’re probably like, what’s a Dakar? I thought he was buying Dakar. A Dakar kit for a Porsche Cayenne is an off-road kit.
It lifts it, it gives it steel skid plates underneath the entire thing. It gives it more like a pre-runner front bumper. It’s designed to be able to go, not really overlanding, but more middle of the desert, off-road style racing.
And for two reasons. Number one, you gotta have a car that you can put the whole family in. And number two, I love off-roading.
And I didn’t used to. I didn’t used to. I used to actually think that off-roading was kind of a hillbilly thing to do.
