Hello Kansas City and welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast. We are so glad that you joined us to talk more about all of our Kansas City car detailing services and Kansas City car detailing packages that we offer. We offer a wide variety of things and Thomas is great about looking at your vehicle and figuring out what is it exactly that you need, what’s in your budget, and what will make sure that your vehicle is taken care of for the long run.
When given a chance, you can decide which package you want—paint correction, ceramic coating, detailing, or even just simply buffing something out. Thomas can literally cater something to what your car needs.
Number ten on the list is a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 from 2015. Why it matters: American muscle meets supercar handling, a global performance bargain. Fun fact: it had performance rivaling Ferraris at a quarter of the price. “Oh, I love Z06’s. I miss mine,” Thomas said. “If you’re a true red-blooded American, there’s something that just brings a smile to your face about owning a car that spanks Ferrari and Lamborghini—and it’s American made. I had two Z06’s. My favorite was a 2013 C6 Z06 in velocity yellow, the same yellow as the car that ran at Le Mans. I even wanted a plate that said ‘Lambo Killer.’ Every Lamborghini I ever raced with that car—except one—I beat. That car was so fast. I could talk about Z06 Corvettes for days. They’re one of my all-time favorites, hands down.”
Number eleven is a Dodge Viper ACR from 2016. Why it matters: track-focused monster with a massive rear wing and no compromises. Fun fact: it held the most U.S. racetrack records of any production car for years. “As the Corvette guy, I gotta hate on the Viper,” Thomas laughed. “Corvette enthusiasts aren’t supposed to like them. But secretly, I do. I co-owned a Viper once with a buddy—we fixed it up, flipped it, and didn’t really make money. But it was a learning experience. Vipers are raw. No heated seats, no automatics, no frills—just pure car. I worked on a Viper ACR Voodoo edition, dark purple with matte black stripes—absolutely stunning. I also worked on a black GTS with red stripes, and a bright orange TA. So yeah, I like Vipers. I just don’t like admitting it.”
Number twelve is a Nissan GTR. Why it matters: it brought high-tech AWD and launch control to the supercar world. Fun fact: it was nicknamed “Godzilla” for destroying everything in its price bracket. “I want a GTR,” Thomas said. “If I had an $80,000 budget, I’d probably buy a GTR over a Z06. They were the poster car of my generation. When the GTR came out in 2008, every car guy wanted one. It could hit 100 mph faster than a Bugatti Veyron when it came out. My uncle-in-law bought one brand new and took me for a ride when I was 13 or 14. He launched it—it was wicked. GTRs aren’t the fastest top speed cars, but they’re insanely quick because of AWD and computer-controlled power distribution. Even today, they’re still very advanced.”
Number thirteen is a Ferrari Enzo from 2002. Why it matters: carbon fiber monocoque, F1-style paddle shifters, named after Enzo Ferrari himself. Fun fact: only 400 were built, and the last one was gifted to the Pope. “The Enzo is iconic. I’ve never personally seen one, but I know people who have owned them. Andy Frisella just bought one recently—around $3.5 million. New, they were $700,000. The V12 in the Enzo was also used in the Ferrari 599 GTO. At one point, those dipped as low as $70,000 even though they had the same drivetrain as the Enzo. I nearly bought one for $78,000—I even filled out a credit app. Now, they’re $150,000+. There’s also a rumor that a guy who does the Ferrari rally, which we sponsor, owns an Enzo and may bring it this year. So we might get to see—and even touch—one.”
