Thank you so much for joining us and for sharing with us your extensive knowledge and wisdom. Thank you so much for having me. I just love coming on here and talking about cars and talking about the Kansas City car detailing services that we offer.
Right now while we are doing this podcast, we’re actually on our way to my brother’s house to create New Year’s resolutions. Now, I don’t know how many of you have ever created a dream board or a vision board and maybe right now you have something on your dream board that you are really excited about and maybe some of you are sitting there and out in your garage is your dream car, like you’ve achieved that car. I know that the car that we are currently driving in, it was my dream car since I was in third grade.
I wanted a red four-door Jeep Wrangler and two years ago, I bought it and every day I drive it. It just fills me with complete joy knowing that I had a dream, worked really hard for it, and now we are living my best life with my fiance in my Jeep. Thomas, can you tell us a little bit about what your dream car is? And I know that you probably don’t just have one, so kind of give us context for what your dream cars would be.
I have a lot. I would say that my immediate dream car is something that I want to achieve in the next couple of months would be a C8 C51 Corvette. That’s a very attainable goal for me.
Is there a specific color or other things that you’re wanting about it? Like any Cape City car detailing package that you want to perform on this C8’s C51? It would definitely get a vinyl wrap on the roof. I would do a chassis mounted wing on the back, carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber side skirts. The colors, I have two different colors I want.
I would either want the new yellow that they’re offering for 2025 or I would get the Sebring orange. It’s like a metallic bright orange. And then if I got the yellow, I would want black with yellow stitching.
If I got the orange, I want the white interior. That’s like an immediate dream car for me. As far as a longer term dream car, you know, I’d love to have a McLaren 765LT, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, and a Ducati Veyron is one of my all-time dream cars.
Koenigsegg Agera, I got a lot. I mean, I really wouldn’t even say I have a dream car. I would say I have cars that I like and cars that I dislike.
But when it comes to any sports car, I love them all. You know, I can appreciate a 90s Volkswagen Golf GTI. I just love every car.
So, but I would say the next car on my list and the car I’m gonna put on my dream board is a C8 Z51 and actually I’m gonna use the car, the photo from the video game Forza Horizon which is a street racing game but it’s it’s a game about like a street racing festival. And one of my dreams and one of my goals is to actually put on a big street racing festival. Like, you know how they have like music festivals? Yeah.
That, except for supercars and street racers. And in the game Forza Horizon one of the cars you get is an orange C8 and so I just like that. I like that culture.
I like that I love, I love racing, but I also love the community that comes with racing. So If someone right now is getting ready to buy their dream car or really just any new car for this new 2025 year, what would you say would be the best Kansas City car detailing package for them to get right off the bat? Well, I always recommend to have your car paint corrected because Spending tens of thousands of dollars on a vehicle that you’ve saved money for, it’s been your dream car You get it and the paint has some defects on it from the factory like you want it to be perfect You know, like your dad says don’t ever cheap out Well, if you just spend all this money getting exactly what you want, why not make the exterior look proper? So right off the bat, I would say have it paint-corrected you knock down all of the factory orange peel all the factory Defects and texture in the paint and then you know put a ceramic coating on and protect that that paint Protects it from light scratches that protects it from all the harmful elements, especially going into winter. You know, we really need to focus on Protecting our cars with winter coming up.
So that’s what I recommend. That’s the main Kansas City car detailing service that I recommend. Let’s say somebody is wanting to get a new car now you Have actually worked at a car dealership before and then an RV dealership. What are some things and recommendations that you have for somebody walking into that dealership? Some great questions or things to be aware of when buying a new car Number Number one The dealership is gonna offer you a better price on the car if you do their financing so They’ll say well, we’ll give you this much money off the price if you do our financing But if you do the math on it and you look at their interest rate, typically you’re gonna end up paying more for their price than just going with the list price and Paying for it with your own financing or writing a check Number one, that’s a big thing Number two you want to check All all dealerships are required to run a car fax report and provide you with a car fax report when you buy a used car But sometimes there’s things that are missed in those car fax reports That are that are hidden so, you know, you could buy a car that has a story and you Don’t know so my recommendation especially on buying a supercar not so much like a regular daily driver But you know if you’re looking at buying a c8 corvette or a lamborghini or a porsche 911 something a little bit more rare I’m gonna go ahead and plug at bullion, but I would go on to venwiki.com and I would run the number there When you run that VIN number, you’re gonna be able to see any time anyone’s posted a picture of that car in a service location or a body shop And and they’re way more extensive so I would I would definitely recommend using venwiki I Know that when I’ve worked on cars that are higher-end I always post them on venwiki because I want the future buyer to know that That car had a paint correction ceramic coating already on it so that you don’t have to worry about Having the car redone or wondering if the car’s redone That’s a that’s a service that I offer for free on all my paint correction jobs So if somebody is wanting to get a hold of you for a Kansas City car Detailing or a Kansas City car detailing paint correction or a Kansas City car detailing ceramic coating Then how would they do so yeah, so you can give me a call at 620-282-0402.
