Kansas City Car Detailing | McLaren 750S, Lexus LFA & Aventador SVJ: Kansas City Detailer Breaks Down Supercar Legends

We come to your work. Hell, we’ll come visit you at the doctor’s office if you’re there long enough. Well guys, we are going to continue our series on the best supercars of all time.
Next on the list is the McLaren 750S. Now, I’ve performed quite a few Kansas City car detailing services on the McLaren 750S. And I don’t know the difference between the 720S and the 750S, other than the fact that the front bumper is a little different and it makes more power.
So I think that’s really all they changed is different front bumper and more power. I will tell you that I prefer the 720S over the 750. I just, I like the way the front fascia looks better on the 720 than on the 750.
And if you got to pay $120,000 more to have a front bumper you don’t like, I would rather buy a 720S and just take it to a tuner and have them turn the power up. Because when you’ve got a twin turbo V8, that’s really all you got to do to get more power is just tune it. Next on the list guys is the Lexus LFA.
Now the Lexus LFA is, what’s a bad word in my family to be honest. So when the Lexus LFA came out new in 2012, I went to the luxury car dealership with my father. My mom owned a Lexus and we brought, took it into the city to get the oil changed and have some maintenance done on it.
And my dad and I were hanging out on the showroom floor and there was a Lexus LFA roped off on the showroom floor. And my dad talked to the salesman about it. I remember my dad was like, this is one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen.
And my dad’s not really a big car guy, but he respects cars and he’s owned some cool stuff over the years. He’s owned Celines, a lot of Mustangs. But I remember he was infatuated with this LFA and he could not get over the beauty of it.
And my dad came really close to buying this LFA. But it was in 2012, the car was like $350,000. And my dad couldn’t quite justify buying that car.
Well, if you’ve stayed up to date on the Lexus LFA, it’s like a $1.5 million car now. And not really because it has an insane amount of power or it’s a great driver’s car. And I believe it has one of the best sounding V10s ever made.
And it was made by Toyota. But the real reason why the Lexus LFA has gone up in value so much is because no one bought them when they were new. For $350,000 in the early 2010s.
You could buy a used Koenigsegg CCX back then. You could get a McLaren, you could get a Lamborghini. There were so many other more exotic cars that a Lexus with a V10 did not sound very enticing.
But the people that bought them and the people that drove them realized that they were a very underrated and underappreciated supercar. And eventually the value of them shot up and now it’s a seven figure car. So now next on the list is one of my dream cars for sure.
It’s the Lamborghini Aventador. Now, I love the Aventador. I’ve performed lots of Kansas City car detailing services on Aventadors.
I’d say it’s one of the more popular cars that I’ve worked on. And it’s one of my dream cars. I’ve been lucky enough because of my Kansas City car detailing clients to have gotten to drive a lot of cool stuff over the years.
And one of the best cars that I’ve ever driven, for some reason, is a Lamborghini Aventador. It has a very outdated, crappy, single clutch transmission out of a Lamborghini Gallardo, which sucks. But it’s the best sounding V12 ever.
And I’m saying this as the primary detailer for the Ferrari Club of North America. But the Lamborghini Aventador, I don’t know why it sounds so good. But it seems like the higher you go up in trim level with the Aventador, the better it sounds.
Ferrari isn’t that way. If you get a Ferrari 812 super fast, and then you get a Ferrari 812 GTS, and then you get a Ferrari 812 Competizione Aperta, they all sound exactly the same. But with the Lamborghini Aventador, the Aventador bass sounds beautiful.
The Aventador S sounds great. The Aventador SV is glorious. And then the Aventador SVJ, which is my dream car, SVJ stands for Superveloce Jota.
It is the greatest sound ever. Like, I can’t stress this enough. The Aventador SVJ, you heard it here first, folks.
It is the best sounding car ever. I love the way that the Aventador SVJ sounds. And I’m not in a position to now, but I would 100% spend a million dollars on an Aventador SVJ just for the sound.
