We are so glad that you joined us tonight to talk about cars, detailing, and just what you don’t know about cars. Today we have the founder of Bespoke, Thomas Thill.

Thank you so much for joining us and for sharing with us your expertise. Thank you so much, and I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. All of my Kansas City car detailing clients, enthusiasts, and listeners, Happy New Year.

And I love coming on here and just talking about all of the different Kansas City car detailing packages and services that we offer. Usually on this podcast we talk about the fastest cars, the nicest cars, the top-rated, all of just the best, the cream of the crop. But today I thought it would be interesting to break down the top 15 slow supercars that can crack a 0-60 mph time of 3 seconds.

Now, off the top of your head before I even go through, because you haven’t even seen the list, what are maybe some of the slowest supercars that you know of? Porsche 911. Earlier Ferraris like Ferrari 360 or 30. Lamborghini Countach.

Are these new or just… Wide range. Lamborghini, Countach, or Diablo. I know the C8 does 0-60 in 2.8 or 2.6 seconds.

So I know it wouldn’t be a Corvette. Maybe it wouldn’t be Corvettes. Definitely Porsche 911s are going to be there.

Those aren’t neck-breaking fast cars. On the list number 15 of the slowest car supercars is a 2003 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Zagato. I should have thought of the Aston Martin.

I’ve done some Kansas City car detailing on a couple of Aston Martins. They are beautiful cars, but they are not fast in a straight line at all. So it says that they come with a 6-liter V12 engine that produces 435 horsepower.

And it goes from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. It’s crazy to think that 20 years ago, 430 horsepower was considered just a ton of power. And now it’s like, that’s slow.

Number 14, we have the 2004 Aston Martin again, Vanquish SV12. It says it has a 5.9-liter V12 engine that produces 520 horsepower. And it gets 0-60 in 4.8 seconds.

I remember a guy that I used to follow for years named Matt Farah. He had an earlier 2000s V12 Vanquish. And I always thought I wanted one.

And then I ended up performing a Kansas City car detailing package on an early 2000s Vanquish V12. And I thought the interior was so poorly put together. It doesn’t surprise me that those cars are dogging it at 0-62.

Number 13 on the list again, Aston Martin with the 2012 Aston Martin 177. It says it has a 7.3-liter V12. And it goes from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds.

I’m sure you’re picking up, if you knew nothing about cars just by reading this, you know Aston Martin is slow. Yes. I wouldn’t consider an Aston Martin a supercar.

But, yeah. They are slow. Next up on the list we have, again, number 12.

2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. Superleggera. And it gets to 0-60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds.

Doesn’t surprise me. It’s another Aston Martin. A little bit out of the box, number 11.

We have the 2014 Audi R8 4.2. And it gets to 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. What do you think of the Audi? Doesn’t surprise me that the R8 V8 is on that list. Because they basically put a sedan engine in the R8 V8.

I bet the R8 V10 is also on that. Because those aren’t super fast either. Number 10 we have the 1994 Bugatti EB110GT.

It goes 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with 561 horsepower. You know, that car may be slow. But, like, if you were to ever see one of those in person, that would be like seeing an actual unicorn.
A live unicorn. Really? Those are so, so rare. I cannot emphasize that enough.
Those are so rare. Number 9 we have the 2017 Ferrari GTC4Lusso. It gets 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with a 6.3 liter V12 engine.

I had a client, a Kansas City car detailing client, who wanted to get a Ferrari 812 GTS. He wanted to order it brand new. And the only way that Ferrari would let him order that car was he had to buy one of those.

And he had to buy a Portofino just in order to order that car new. Number 8 we have the 2012 Ferrari 458 Spyder. It doesn’t surprise me.

My brother-in-law used to have one of those. I always told him how slow he was. Really? Yeah.
It has 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with 562 horsepower. Was it a nice ride outside of maybe its slow start? It made really cool noises. But, you know, I come from the world of built Corvettes.
So I was never like, oh this car is fast. It just sounded cool and it was quick. Number 7 we have the 2008 Ferrari F430 Scuderia.

That’s one of my dream cars. Even though they’re slow, they’re all carbon fiber. And they are so nimble and they are so rigid.
I mean, I’ve gotten to drive a 430 Scud and they are really fun to drive. It says the car is lighter and has a higher performance with a 4.3 liter V8 engine, 503 horsepower. And it gets 0-60 in 3.4 seconds.

Yeah. Good ride. Awesome.

2003 is the Ferrari. Number 6 is the 2003 Ferrari Enzo. 0-60 in 3.14 seconds.

Yeah. You know, it’s hard for me to wrap my mind around the idea of a Ferrari Enzo being slow. Because at one point that was actually the fastest car in the world.

Wow. But, I really don’t care. If I had the money, I would have an Enzo in the collection.
Because that car is going to shoot up in value. And who cares if it does 0-60 in under 2 seconds. That is really fast.

0-60 in under 3 seconds is crazy. Number 5, we have the 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO. So, one of my Kansas City car detailing clients is a huge Ferrari collector here in Kansas City.
It’s Chris. He has one of those. And I’m actually going to send him that screenshot as soon as we’re done with this.

Just to get under his skin. Because those are slow. Number 4, we have the 1993 Jaguar XJ220.
It takes 3.6 seconds to get from 0-60. You remember when you and I first started dating and I was doing a Kansas City car detailing service on that silver car. I sent you a picture of it.
Yes. That’s what that was. Okay.

Even though that car isn’t neck-breakingly fast by today’s standards. That car came out in the 90’s. Wow.

That speed in the 90’s was unheard of. Wow. Number 3, this is interesting.

The 2004 Koenigsegg CCR. It goes from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds. Yeah.

I mean, that may have been slow at the time. But Koenigsegg has a pattern of anytime Bugatti or Pagani or Ferrari hits that fastest car in the world. Koenigsegg is like, alright bet.

They were the first ever company to make a car that did 300 miles an hour. The Koenigsegg Agera 1-1. That car is like $10 million.

Super crazy. Number 2, we have the 1976 Lamborghini Count… Countach. Countach LP400.
It takes 5 seconds to get from 0-60. Again, I mean, that’s slow. But for the time, that car was like a UFO when it came out in the 70’s.

Wow. Number 1 is the 1968 Lamborghini Miura. This makes it the slowest car on the list because it takes 3.6 seconds to reach a top speed of 60 miles per hour.

You know, that car has a pass. Because at the Geneva Auto Show, that car was dubbed the most beautiful car in the world. And even to this day, it is still known as the most beautiful car in the world.

Wow. Any other thoughts on these slowest cars on the list? Anything that surprised you? Not really. I mean, there’s this misconception that Ferrari and Lamborghini are supposed to be really fast cars.

And to the average person, they are. But I was lucky enough at a young age to get to experience high horsepower Corvettes. And I had a client who had an underground racing 2,500 horsepower Huracan.

That set a standard for me that anything under 1,000 horsepower is slow. But hey, if you guys are looking to book a Kansas City Auto Detailing Package, give us a call at 620-282-0402. Or go on to our website at BespokeRefinement.com.
