Hello Kansas City! Welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast, your number one go-to for all Kansas City car detailing services, needs, and packages. We absolutely love talking about cars. We are so glad that you joined Thomas and I on this wonderful summer night to talk about cars.
Now Thomas, can you tell us what do you think is the fastest car ever made? What do I think or what is? What is? It’s either the Bugatti Chiron Pure Sport or the Koenigsegg Jesko. Okay. Which one is it? Well, we’re gonna go through a list of the top 10.
Okay. Oh, there would also be the Hennessey F5, the Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg, Agera, RS. Yeah, those would be the ones that I would, I would say are the fastest.
So tonight on this podcast, we’re gonna be breaking down the top 10 fastest production cars ever made. Now this is not factory cars, this would just be production cars. Number one on the list, with a top speed of 304.77 miles per hour, has an eight liter quad turbo W16.
It’s the first production car to break the 300 miles per hour barrier. Can you give a guess what it is? Bugatti Chiron Pure Sport. Super Sport.
Super Sport. I didn’t know the Chiron made a Super Sport yet. Okay.
Yep. Number two has a top speed of 311 plus miles per hour, 6.6 liter twin turbo V8. Texas built the hyper car aiming to beat the Chiron’s record.
My boy, my boy built that car. Yes. I’m friends with John.
It’s the Hennessey F5. That’s correct. Do you know the other name? The Hennessey Venom F5? Yep, Hennessey Venom F5.
No, that was the Hennessey Venom GT. Fun fact actually, so John put on a car show in Galveston at TX2K one year, and we went and hung out, and there was this, they said there was this rock star that was taking delivery of his Venom GT, and it was Stephen Tyler. Oh really? So Stephen Tyler took delivery of his Hennessey Venom GT, and I was there.
That’s so cool. I was at the really bougie hotel on the ocean in Galveston. That’s so cool.
It’s one of your happy places. Yeah. Number three.
It says it was claimed and disputed, but still says, so it’s controversial. Top speed of 316 miles per hour, has a 5.9 liter twin turbo V8. Controversial record.
Later runs confirmed lower, but still extremely fast. Um, okay. I don’t recognize it.
There’s a company called SSE Aero. There’s a couple of different companies, but I remember hearing about a company that made these claims and no one never believed it. Um, so it’s the SSC Torotera.
Yes, that’s right. Um, I have heard of that. Um, they claimed that they pulled that off, but it was like on a dyno.
Okay. Never actually done on the street. Okay.
So no one was ever really able to confirm it, to confirm it on the road. Number four has estimated 330 miles per hour, 5.0 liter twin turbo V8 designed to break every record that this brand can chase. Do you recognize the brand? I do.
It’s a really famous one. And it was one, I think it was one of the ones you, you mentioned earlier. The Koenigsegg Jesco.
Yeah. The Koenigsegg Jesco Absolute. I haven’t heard of the Absolute.
Um, I know it’s kind of interesting. So they’re like, I think they’re like $7 million to get a Jesco and the Chiron’s 5 million. And like, no one buys these cars.
Like people buy them, like no one drives them. So the only person that drives, like actually uses them is Andrew Tate. So Andrew Tate has started doing car reviews with his own cars.
Cause he has like a $52 million car collection. So he’s got a Bugatti Chiron and he compared driving the Chiron and then the Koenigsegg Jesco. And it was like the Bugatti Chiron, you can go 300 and not even realize it.
Wow. Cause it’s just so smooth. Like you’re doing 220 in the Jesco and you literally feel like you’re going to die.
It’s like a literal, the Koenigsegg is a literal death trap because it doesn’t have all of the creature comforts and gadgets that, you know, keep the car from crashing. It’s like, it will go 316, but you’ve got to drive it there versus the Bugatti and he’s like, kind of just does it itself. Makes sense.
Number five has top speed of 267.86 miles was recorded in 2010. Has an eight liter quad turbo W16. Is a former Guinness world record holder for fastest production car.
Be the Bugatti Veyron, either the Viettis or the Super Sport. Super Sport. It was a Super Sport.
Fun fact, a guy that I know just got one, just got a Veyron Super Sport. Bought a red, it was, it was Justin, the car belonged to Justin Bieber and then it belonged to Floyd Mayweather and then it belonged to, what was his name? Lil Baby. Okay.
Then he bought it from Lil Baby. Okay. So it’s like on its fifth owner, but it’s bright red with a red interior and red wheels.
That’s cool. So pretty awesome. Yeah.
Number six has a top speed of 258 miles per hour. It has four electric motors, 1,914 horsepower. Currently the world’s fastest production electric vehicle.
I know the name, I know the company. I think it starts with an R. Yeah. It’s the car that Richard Hammond about died in.
I know the car. I’ve watched videos on them. I also know a guy who has one and they’re just not cool because they’re electric.
So you think about it, when you’re like, when you’re watt in a, in a hyper car, you’re, you’re, you’re hearing the sound, you’re hearing the engine accelerate, you’re hearing the turbo spool up. That car is so quiet that the only thing you can hear is the gravel hitting the wheel, the, the inner fender wells. Cause there’s no engine.
Yeah. And that takes away from it. Yeah.
So I’ve told you this before I’ll die on this hill. Owning an electric car is the gayest thing you can do. So if somebody is wanting to, uh, contact you and argue with you about electric vehicles, so they want you to hire you to detail their super fast car to detail their everyday drive, their mom vehicle, how would they go about contacting you?
