Hello Kansas City and welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast. We are so glad that you joined us today. I don’t know if you’ve been experiencing the same crazy weather that we have over the last few days with negative degree weather and everything else that we’ve experienced here in Kansas City with this snowstorm.

I hope you all are doing amazing and that you’re staying nice and dry. Thomas, what have you been experiencing the last few days here in Kansas City? A lot of crappy wintry weather. As you know, I hate it.

I’ve seen a lot of different vehicles that have been stranded on the side of the roads. I’ve seen a lot of cars break down on the side of the roads and a lot of cars that could utilize some Kansas City car detailing services. So as people are going into the winter season, kind of go over some things with them that maybe they need to be prepared for in keeping the car clean or maintaining it or what exactly could you do to help them keep their car clean when it’s snowy and salty on the roads.

The number one thing is getting on our recurring monthly Kansas City car detailing maintenance wash service. That’s a no-brainer because we’ll come to you and we will detail your car for you in your driveway, at your home. That way you don’t have to, you know, do it.
You don’t have to take it to a car wash and wash it improperly. We also always recommend applying some sort of ceramic sealant to your paint. So whether it’s a six-month ceramic sealant or it’s a five-year 10-inch ceramic coating.

And we always recommend that Kansas City car detailing service to our clientele. And then as far as maintaining the interior of your car, always having some sort of rubber mats on the floorboards just makes it so much easier to keep your carpets from getting salts dug into the floor mats and making those harder to keep clean or staining the floor mats. So if somebody’s wanting to receive one of these top Kansas City car detailing service packages, how would they get ahold of you and get it started? The best way to get a hold of us, you can give me a call at 620-282-0402 to book a Kansas City car detailing service.

You can also go online to bespokerefinement.com. You can check out all of our different packages that we offer. You can see all of the Kansas City car detailing services that we perform. All right. So to get started, Thomas and I have been talking about taking a road trip in Europe. So one of the things that I saw pop up on Facebook was a path to travel through Ireland.
Now I’m a redhead and I would absolutely love to travel across Ireland or just make a whole loop around it. We talked about what would be the best cars to travel Europe in. And I found a list of the eight best road trip cars.

Thomas, what are some of your favorite road trip cars? Well, as far as a weekend car, you know, packing lightly, which we all know you can’t do. I would say a Porsche 911. They have a lot of space in the front.

They have a frunk. And then they also have space in the back for storage. I just think they’re amazing cars for traveling.

So that’s definitely one on my list. I think the Porsche Panamera GTS is another awesome car to road trip in. A lot of space, a lot of good traveling comforts, very luxurious and a lot of power and a lot of nice creature comforts.

I would also say probably an Audi RS6. They’re really powerful cars, four doors, a lot of room to put luggage in and extremely comfortable cars to travel in. So on this list, this is the Auto Europe eight best road trip cars they list.

It’s one of your favorite cars, and I think it’s interesting, but it’s a Mini Coupe. Would you have thought a Mini Coupe to be one of the best road trip cars? I wouldn’t have thought of a Mini Cooper, but honestly, I’ve owned one. I loved it.

They’re so fun. It’s like driving a go-kart on the road. They’re quick.

And I think it’d be fun to recreate the Italian job. Ooh, yeah, that’d be fun. A little Mini Coupe.
It does have 181 to 189 horsepower, and it can get up to 26 miles per gallon in its tank. Number two is the Ford Focus. I could see it.

I really like the Ford Focus RS, which is a sportier version. So it’s got a 2.5 liter turbo four-cylinder manual transmission. I think that’d be a really good daily driver.

I love those cars. Number three is a BMW 1 Series. I gotta be honest, I’m not the biggest BMW fan.

Really? I’ve heard that they can be really unreliable and have a lot of problems over time. And a BMW really isn’t a car that I know a whole lot about. I do like the M3s and the new M4s, but just not really a car that I look at and think I want to rent or drive one from past experience for their owners that I’ve heard of.

Number four is a Volkswagen Passat. Passat wagon. My sister just got a Volkswagen and she’s really enjoyed it.

It’s very nice on the inside. It’s actually got a really luxurious interior. The cool thing about Volkswagen is they own everything like high-end auto manufacturers.

So Volkswagen owns Porsche, they own Lamborghini, they own Audi. So you see a lot of their luxury lines getting nicer because they’re taking parts from Lamborghini and Porsche and Audi. So I think Volkswagens are great.

Number five, we have the BMW, another BMW, but the 3 Series. Now it’s considered a full size with 15 feet and up to 32 miles per gallon in the city, 45 miles on the highway, and it can get up to 180 to 335 horsepower. I wouldn’t want a base model 3 Series.

It would definitely have to be a BMW M3. Your dad had one of those, didn’t he? Yeah. I really like the M3 and I think that especially the E46, which is what your dad had, I think that was like one of the last best true sports cars that any auto manufacturer ever made.

So it would have to be an older one, but I do like the 3 Series. Next up we have the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It’s considered luxury, 16 feet up to 17 to 25 miles per gallon, but it can get up to 455 to 720 horsepower.

The S-Class is a really cool car. I like the SL55 AMG. Again, like with BMW, it would have to be an M car.

With Mercedes, it would have to be an AMG car for me to be interested in it, but I love the older SL63 AMGs. They came with a twin turbo V12. They sounded so good and they were so fast.
Next up on the list, we have the Volvo XC90. It’s considered an SUV, 85 feet, 16 to 25 miles per gallon, and 190 to 400 horsepower. I know nothing about Volvos.

I’ve worked on a lot of them over the years performing Kansas City car detailing services. Not really a fan of Volvo interiors. They feel really cheap and just plasticky.

Not a big fan of the Volvo. Last up on the list, we have a Ferrari 458 Italia. What are your thoughts on the Ferrari? My sister used to have one of those.

I’ve driven four or five 458s. They’re incredible cars. I mean, you talk about a car that has a lot of power, but also is extremely luxurious and a really smooth ride.

The power band’s really linear. Yeah, I got no qualms with the 458. So again, if somebody’s wanting to get in the queue to have a Kansas City car detailing service or they want to get their car interior cleaned, exterior cleaned, paint corrected on a monthly, weekly, bi-weekly basis, how do they get a hold of bespoke automotive refinement?
