Today we have with us the founder and creator of Bespoke, and that is Thomas Thill. Thank you so much for joining us today.
Thank you so much for having me on, Averee. I just love coming on here and talking about all of the different Kansas City car detailing services and packages that we offer. So today we’re going to be talking about future cars worth waiting for in 2025.
So today is New Year’s Eve. We’re leading into 2025 and it is a whole new year of cars. What is a common thing for new models to upgrade on? Do they upgrade the colors? Do they upgrade, maybe now I think a lot of cars are moving from electric to hybrid, like what are things that people kind of look for in a new car versus old cars? Yeah, so whenever there’s a brand that comes out with a new type of technology and it catches on, like you know I remember heads-up displays and I remember heated and cooled seats and a heated steering wheel.
Those are things that you first saw in high-end luxury models and then more affordable brands like Audi, Hyundai began adopting those options. So I think the big thing that you’re gonna see in 2025 is gonna be switching to hybrid technology or all-electric technology, which I think is disgusting, and their color changes. So you’re gonna be seeing a lot of new unique colors that these manufacturers are seeing.
Hypercar and supercar manufacturers use like, I know that the big one right now has been Porsche and McLaren offer very unique colors and I’ve started seeing that manufacturers like Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Ford, Chevrolet and Audi are beginning to offer their own twist or their own spin on these colors. So one of the newest cars has come about in the last few years is the Tesla Cybertruck. What are your thoughts on this new vehicle that’s hit the reds? The Tesla Cyber Truck I have a love-hate relationship with it but have never performed a kansas city car detailing service on it. And I would love to!
I think it’s a microwave in every way. I think it looks like a microwave and I think it is a microwave. It does everything that it’s supposed to do.
So you know it’s got a 0 to 60 the same, it has the same 0 to 60 time as a Porsche 911 and they all look the same. You can’t really do anything from the factory to make yours look unique. You have to do a final wrap or change the wheels to make it look your own.
But I do think they look really unique. I think they’ve got a lot of really cool features. I know there’s a content creator called Whistlin Diesel who got one of these and he really debunked how they aren’t that viable and they aren’t that durable as far as using it as a truck.
So I don’t think you buy a Tesla Cyber Truck as your only vehicle but I think if you have seven or eight vehicles and you want one because you can afford it, you think it looks cool, I say go for it. And on the detailing aspect of that, because they’re stainless steel a lot of detailers are doing stainless steel polishing methods on them and making them look like a mirror. Because when you polish stainless steel it creates a mirror effect and I think I think that looks really cool.
So one of the cars listed on Car and Driver as the number one car to be looking for is a Nissan Maxima 2026. What are your thoughts on just a basic Nissan Maxima? Well in the car world we have a term called Nissan Maxima energy.
So whenever someone cuts you off in traffic or someone’s driving erratically we call that Nissan Maxima energy. I think that Nissan Maximas are kind of like Ford Mustangs and Scion TC’s where they have a very specific demographic and type of driver. I’ll never own one.
I’m not a fan of Nissan Maxima’s or the people that drive them. Number two is the 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon. Yes it’s crazy how they put Nissan Maxima and then Bugatti Tourbillon right next to it.
Yes. Bugatti’s really upped their game in the last six years with you know they had the Veyron and then they did the Veyron Supersport the Veyron Viettis and now they’re coming out with all of these new models based on the Chiron. So you know the pure sport and the Devo and now the Tourbillon like I think that they’ve really they’re really trying to create a brand that offers more than one model which is unique for hypercar manufacturers.
Number three on the list is the 2026 Genesis GV70. Do you know much about this vehicle? The SUV? Yes. I love those.
What do you like about them? I hate that I love them. They’re just so unique like the wheels have the spokes on the wheels are very unique. The interior looks like the interior in a Bentley, a Miniaga.
It does not look like a Hyundai which is what a Genesis is. The Genesis is a Hyundai and they look really good and I know that they’re really reliable because they have the reliability aspect of Hyundai. I love the GV70.
Number four on the list is the 2026 Mustang Raptor. So it says it mixes mud and muscle with over 700 horsepower. I actually haven’t heard of this.
It looks more like a Subaru but it’s a Mustang mixed. Oh that’s gonna be a real thing. That’s actually really cool.
Okay all right I would drive that in a heartbeat, and would love to work on it as a kansas city car detailing vehicle. So it says it’s likely a 700 horsepower 5.2 liter v8 with a supercharger whining like a mosquito from hell. Yes so I’m really happy to see like I think Ford disappointed a lot of people when they got rid of the supercharged v8 and their Raptor trucks and they switched to a turbo v6 and even with the Ford GT they instead of doing like a supercharged v8 or a v10 they did a hybrid turbo v6.
I would be really happy if they actually made that and it came with a supercharged v8 like just so you know I would want to buy one of those because that is sick. So if somebody wanted to talk more about cars with you or get in contact with you for you to work on one of their cars how would they do so?
