Kansas City Car Detailing | Why the New Corvette ZR1X Is Breaking the Supercar World

Now Thomas, how are you doing right now with the weather outside and with what we do with Bespoke Refinement? I am hot, I am sweaty, but we are fighting through it because we have cars to clean and there’s no stop in this train. Yep, you’ve currently been working on something kind of cool that maybe the Bespoke audience may not know that you do. What have you been working on this week? I’ve been working on a 2024, actually I don’t know a whole lot about boats, so I don’t know what kind of boat it is like at all, but it’s red with a peanut butter interior.
It’s beautiful. The boat looks like, it’s kind of one of those cool things where like, you know, when you’re a kid and you’re a car guy, you always say like, I’m going to live in a small house and I’m going to have a really expensive sports car. Yeah.
And this is kind of like the equivalent of that, like the house and the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but the boat like makes up for it. Like this guy’s got his priorities right. He’s living a good life.
He’s living his best life. So we are, just got done cleaning it. And then a two bucket wash method, got rid of all the water spots, this new product that I’ve started using to get rid of water spots.
I’m actually really excited about it. I deconned it, prepped it and ceramic coating it. So it’s going very well.
Is the customer really excited about what you’re doing on it? He is. I mean, you know, it’s really cool. Just, we did no polishing on it.
It was just really like a really thorough detail on the gel coat and then ceramic coating it. And it’s crazy how much gel coat can, how much gloss gel coat can have by just a really thorough detail. So I’m really excited about that.
Really excited about that. And he’s excited about it as well. So something else that you’re really excited about is Corvette introduced their latest and greatest new car.
Can you tell us a little bit about what they released? Yeah. So Corvette just released the new ZR1X, which is, as a Corvette guy, I’m very excited about because it is literally a hypercar. Like figuratively and literally, this thing is a hypercar and it is a multi-million dollar hypercar killer.
So they took the ZR1 Corvette, which is flat plane crank V8, and it has twin turbos on it. Car’s already pumping out like 900 horsepower. And the ZR1X takes the hybrid technology from the E-Ray.
And they combined the electric motor from the E-Ray and this twin turbo flat plane crank V8 to create a literal hypercar. It’s all wheel drive, dual clutch transmission. There’s already several Kansas City car detailing clients of mine that have allocations to buy these, which is really exciting.
But I mean, this is going to be a $250,000 car that’s going to be able to outperform multi-million dollar hypercars like Bugatti’s, Donny’s, Koenigsegg’s, McLaren Senna’s, McLaren P1’s. I mean, this is going to be an absolutely insane hypercar. So I’m really excited to see how it performs against these crazy hypercars.
So it’s going to be awesome. Yeah. And what has been the response so far from people about this new car? Are people excited about it? The Corvette community is especially excited about it because you’re talking about something that Corvette’s always been a benchmark beater.
So with McLaren, with the Porsche 911, with Ferrari, with Lamborghini, they set that benchmark and then Corvette comes along and they beat it at a third or a quarter of the price. And this car’s no different. So for instance, the McLaren Senna, it’s a hypercar.
So it utilizes hybrid technology with an engine. So it’s not like a Prius where they’re trying to go green. They just utilize the electric engine and match it with the… It’s kind of like your Jeep where it has an electric motor and a gas motor, except they combine the two.
And, but it’s a crazy, crazy, crazy electric motor that puts out crazy power with an insane gas engine. I mean, the Corvette community is stoked about it. There is not a single Corvette owner that I’m friends with on Facebook that hasn’t said something about this.
I mean, everyone’s excited about it, except for the exotic car community. They’re not. Because think about it.
You pay $400,000 for a brand new Lamborghini Huracan and the C8 Z06 outperforms it for $90,000. Think about that. You spend $400,000 and you lose to a Corvette Z06.
Now, everyone’s always known that. That’s why I’ve always liked the Z06, because the Z06 has always been like, you’ll smoke a supercar for a fraction of the price. And the ZR1X is now a hypercar killer.
So it’s, it’s insane. You know, the fact that you’re going to be paying a quarter million dollars for a Corvette is wild. But what you’re getting is, it’s like GT3 RS level aerodynamics and technology in a, with hypercar technology, hyper technology, insane horsepower, 1250 horsepower.
That’s over double the amount of horsepower that the C6 Z06 makes. That’s almost three times the amount of horsepower that the factory stock C6 Z06 made. Wow.
That’s insane. And it costs half the price of a brand new GT3 RS. It’s just, it’s, I can’t wait to see it.
I’ve already told you this. It’s on my bucket list of cars to own. To own or to receive a Kansas City car detailing service or Kansas City car detail package? Both.

Because the car has so much carbon fiber on it. And I love paint correcting carbon fiber. It’s like my favorite.
It’s so satisfying to do carbon fiber. Because the factory never gets carbon fiber right. But I can.
And just really make the, the, the weave pop. But I’m equally as excited to own one. And I’ve already got the spec figured out in my head.
You want to know what it is? What’s that? Exterior paint color is going to be hysteria purple with the ZO or the ZR. What’s it going to be? It’s going to be the carbon edition or the carbon package. I think that would make the Z07 carbon edition.
Yeah. It’ll be the Z07 carbon edition. So every carbon fiber option possible.
The big carbon fiber wing, carbon fiber arrow, carbon fiber roof, carbon fiber tub. And this is the first time Corvette’s ever done this, but it’s even going to have carbon fiber wheels, which is insane in an American made car. Then the interior will be habanero orange with habanero orange brake calipers.
And that, that would, that will be like it. I don’t think, I don’t think you have to own anything more after that because it’s got double the power of it. Oh, more than double the power of a GT3 RS.
It’s got, I mean, 1,250 horsepower is that’s Bugatti Veyron territory and Bugatti Veyron $2 million. Now you’re talking actually more power than a Veyron for a 10th of the price. That’s why I love Corvettes performance line.
You know, I, you know, this a lot, I knocked the base model Corvette, but even the base model Corvette is a benchmark for, you know, supercar and sports car territory. But once you get into the Z cars, like the Z06 and the ZR1, and now the ZR1X, it just, I can’t, I can’t be more excited about it. I’m like a giddy little school girl.
