Hello Kansas City and welcome back to the Bespoke Automotive Refinement Podcast. I am your host Thomas Till. I am the owner and founder of Bespoke Refinement.

We are Kansas City’s number one car detailing as well as we are Kansas City’s number one ceramic coating service. Guys, thank you so much for coming on our podcast. We love doing this every week coming on here talking cars, detailing, paint correction, Kansas City car detailing, all the things, but we are going to continue our segment of Facebook Marketplace Cars for Sale.

It’s a really easy thing for me to talk about because I spend a lot of my free time on Facebook Marketplace looking at cars. Would you agree? Would you agree? Yes. Exactly.

All right, so here we go. Next on the docket. This is act like for real.

This is for real one of my dream cars. Like for real. This is one of the dream cars.

It’s the right color. It’s got the right engine. It is actually one of my dream cars.

It is a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 and it is in the best color ever. Giallo Orion Pearl aka bright ass yellow with a black interior with yellow stitching. I mean, this is it right here, guys.

This is the one. If you gave me $400,000 and said, get your dream car, this is what I would get. And then I’d spend the other $60,000 on carbon fiber and wheels and just stupid things that are not financially a good idea, but oh well.

Okay, so start with this car. Why do I like the Lamborghini Aventador so much? I think it’s the perfect blend of a modern supercar with a big V12. It’s got launch control.

It’s got all of the computers that make the car very easy to drive and yet you can shut it all off. I have a Kansas City ceramic coating client who had both an Aventador LP 700 and a Murcielago LP 640. The LP 640 was a gated manual and I don’t think when he bought it, he knew what he was getting because at that point, it was just a, the Murcielagos were at the bottom of their market.

So like, it was just a Murcielago that was manual and the value of them shot up, but I drove the Murci numerous times and I drove the Aventador numerous times. And the only thing I can say about the two is the Murci is a little bit more raw than the Aventador, but the Aventador is still very, very menacing. I mean, you can hear, you can hear the engine very pronounced from behind you.

And, you know, when you get into the Huracans and the Ferrari F12s, which I still love, they’re still refined enough that you can do it, it doesn’t really feel like a terrifying experience. The Aventador is scary. It’s, it’s, it’s like driving an untamed dragon.

This one’s got 6,600 miles. Yeah. And I think the Aventador is one of the best sounding V12s on earth.

I think the best sounding V12 on earth is the Aventador SVJ, which is obviously different from the LP700 Aventador, but not by much. You can make a base Aventador sound very close to an SVJ with a Gentani exhaust. Okay.

Next on the list. This one hits home since we provide Kansas City ceramic coating. So I grew up with one of these in my garage as a kid, and these cars really have a special place in my heart.

I’ll just say what it is. It’s a 2002 Mustang Selene S281 Speedster or Roadster. Now I’ve got a photo in my phone and it’s one of my favorite pictures ever.

It’s old and it’s grainy because it’s from like 2015, but it’s that Selene parked at the end of a dead end road next to my 2004 Corvette Z51. And that’s like an era of two really awesome American sports cars. I mean, both had chrome wheels, both were lowered, both were big American V8s with high displacement.

Well, I mean, the Mustang didn’t have as much displacement as my Corvette did, but it’s an era, you know, chrome wheels, lowered, blacked out windows, bright colors. Like that is an era that’s gone. And I’m really glad and I feel really blessed that I got to like experience having those two cars during a time that they were like, cool, you know, because now you see a C5 Corvette and you’re like, okay, you know, yeah, it’s a Corvette, you know, it’s still cool to see a C5, but it wasn’t as cool.

It’s not as cool now as it was when I bought that car in 2013, because the C7 hadn’t come out yet. You know, it was kind of like owning a C7 now. And then the Selene, it’s like an exotic car mated with a Ford Mustang.

So this one, let’s take a look at it here. Kansas City ceramic coating. This one’s fully built.

It’s got a 3.4 liter Whipple blower, built motor. It doesn’t have the horsepower numbers, but oh, it’s got a nice, it’s got a Cobra motor that’s bored and stroked. So that’s pretty, that’s pretty cool.

Okay, guys, next on the list is a 1984 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Limited. Now, if I were to show my wife a picture of this car, she would look at this and she would go, that’s not cool. That’s not new.

You know, that’s not a brand new Jeep or a brand new G wagon or whatever. She’s like, that’s just an old car. But to me, I love these old Jeep Wagoneers.

I think they’re so unique. I think they’re so cool. You know, every time I see one, it breaks my neck and I want to turn around and I want to follow it and take a picture of it.

I mean, it’s a very special vehicle to me. And the way that I look at having an older, authentic daily driver, I want something that I can work on. I want something that realistically, if it needs a panhard bar replaced, or if I need to fix something in the garage, I can work on it at home.

And a Jeep Grand Wagoneer that’s fully restored on the outside. And it’s got this one’s got a completely rebuilt 5.9 liter v8 360. This is cool.

You know, I wouldn’t buy this Kansas City ceramic coating daily if I didn’t have something cool in my garage. Like, you know, if you’ve got your 900 horsepower Z06 Corvette, and you’ve got your perfectly well balanced Porsche 911 GT3 track car, you don’t need a bougie daily driver because you’ve got your fun race cars in the garage. This is just my logic.

So having a 1984 Jeep Grand Wagoneer would be like the ultimate, ultimate daily driver, especially if an EMP hits. This is literally fake. I mean, this is a doomsday rig right here.

EMP hits, this thing’s gonna fire right up. I’m a fan. Well guys, if you are looking for a Kansas City car detailing package, or better yet, if you’re looking for a Kansas City ceramic coating package, go ahead and give us a call at 620-282-0402.
